Piper Services enjoyed a 6-2 victory over a sloppy Scotprime side.
Scotprime surpassed their previous entry in the fastest goal conceded competition when straight from the kick off Piper scored with only 10 seconds gone.
Scotprime levelled quickly though when Danny Collingwood's shot took a deflection and looped over the keeper but they were immediatly back on the defensive as Piper laid seighe to the Scotprime goal and eventually Andy Parratt 'took the mick' out of several defenders before hammering the ball in from an acute angle.
Things quickly went from bad to worse for Scotprime as first some sloppy defending and then a penaltyconceded helped Piper to a 4-1 lead.
A terrific strike from Scott Sadler reduced the arrears and it should have been 4-2 at hlaftime but having won a penalty, Dave Plummer made the mistake of taking it himself and it was saved.
Another silly goal made it 5-2 to Piper early in the 2ns half. Scotprime had chances but could not hit the target and with 4 minutes to go, Piper made it 6 to console a comfortable victory. Also on the scoresheet for Piper were Redgrift 3, Coley and Burgess. Longship 3rds(Sutherland 2, Thompson, og) beat Old Clee 2nds(Lee Searby, Mark Papsworth) 4-2, Smugglers Imps beat leaders Wheatsheaf(Dean Love) 2-1 while SCM(N Southern) drew 1-1 with Kingsway Printers Athletic(Los Carroll)
