You must keep requesting that an official is oppionted for you games. Eventually you will be heard my friend. But there are so many games and not enough referee's in the area to cover. If more refs were spare, i would hope lines man were also oppointed for games. But again, we can only hope??

7 league games this season and only 1 referee!!!! Can a rota system be set up so this can be fairer?

let the top sides see how they handle a game with no ref maybe they would realise how much we contrbute and stop the shit slinging and crap when things dont go there way

Saw the thing in the sports about a refs course and loads going from lower leagues cos they're the ones who have no refs the most. Why should that be the case?? Ok the div 1 title is more prestigious etc but surely a league title or come to that any fixture is as equally important to the players and club of div 8 team to those in 1&2

Maybe even more so Duffy cos the div 8 lads have probably never won anything before whereas the div 1 and 2 lads might have been winning stuff for a number of years.

Can you ring any of them up and ask them polietly if they would like to ref a friendly?

we never had a ref when we played lucarlys in div 2 the other week. our guy did 1st half and theres did the 2nd. it spoiled it loads. there guy ( danny love ) gave everything to them and spoiled the game. but yes pete why shouldnt lower leagues get a ref. shame ther isnt enough around so all games have a ref.
