Nicks Takeaway 2-4 Redstar Smarts News,1 of the most enjoyable games ive had the pleasure of playing in.Both sporting teams,hard tackling but fair,no handbags,stand in referee Shaun Coulbeck i think his name is was excellent.Felt a bit for a couple of the Nicks centrebacks who gave their all but let down by some of their lazy teammates.

I second that. Even though 5 out the 6 goals were set-piece goals, it was a very enjoyable game to play in. I was a bit dissapointed that my lads didn't take advantage of our great start. We looked in control for 25-30 mins and could have been 2, maybe 3 goals up but your keeper made 2 great stops. From then on, our lack of experience showed a bit. We had 5 players playing today that are new to the club and new to division 4 and we couldn't keep the ball.

You deservered the 3 points and it was no surprise that Cox again helped himself to the match winning goals. He was a real handful.

Good luck for the rest of the season. Keep that work rate going and you will hopefully go up.

Cheers for that Dave.Your not a bad side at all m8 and you certainly will hold your own against other teams this season.You just need to find your feet in this division.Like you said you had a few new players today and divisions 1-4 are a big difference in my opinion to 5-8.Last season was our 1st in div 4 and we stayed up on the last day of last season with 21 points.This season,were only 3 points off that target already after 9 games and still in 2 cups so give it time and youll be fine.We did say in the changing rooms afterwards that you were vastly improved from the last time we played you in div 5,good luck for the rest of the season.

Harriets Imperial 7 - 2 Police. The Police had quite a few players missing i think and also had 3 different keepers throughout the game.

Pitch next door ;- East Coast 1 - 3 L.O.R. It was 1-1 for ages until L.O.R scored a cracker. The game still could have gone either way.

Too many good players missing today and we simply couldn't cope.The players coming in and a few others weren't up for the challenge. I hope they don't think they have a right to moan when they are left out next week.

Didn't deserve that though. Got a pen given against us that never was. Thats three games this season we have lost on big decisions. It seems thats the way it goes when you are struggling a bit.

Red Star will bed pleased to know that the police got done by Humbertherm 2nds today. Police went one nil up but then Humbertherm scored two from the half way line in five minutes and then two more after the police keeper got sent of and won  4 - 1.

Banana Fitness 4 - 1 LOR

LOR went 1-0 up when a ball down the flank was chased by Banana's huge keeper but was beaten by an LOR winger who lobbed an inch perfect effort into the net.Banana levelled from a cross which fluked its way into the net via the far post then Banana soon took the lead from a corner which was flicked on at the near post for a Banana player to slam home from a couple of yards out.Banana went 3-1 up when their blond bomber in midfield unleashed a half volley.Banana wrapped the game up from close range when the ball broke to an unmarked Banana player to keep his composure and slot past the LOR keeper into the far corner.A well deserved result which leaves the Division 4 title race wide open.Well done to the Banana Fitness lads who kept things simple and passed it around with confidence whereas in my opinion,LOR lost their heads as they sem to have been having everything go their own way so far this season.PS i don't think i've ever wrote the word BANANA more times in 1 paragraph than this fucka!

when pat clarke says we absoluletly destroyed them you av to listen, matty carter woz our best player today, and it was good to see other di v 4 teams to cheer on, this div is very strong
