I hear that the referee denied the fiddler the right to change their keeper during peno's. The referee told them to read the rule book. A spectator rang me to enquire about this ruling. It states in the Laws of association football that "An eligible player may change places with the goal keeperat any time when the kicks from the penaltl mark are being taken". This means that anyone from the named 11 can go in goal. Not a sub brough on, but an outfield player changing places with the keeper. Apparently, the spectator wreckens the ref wunt let this happen. Im afraid if true, he made a big boo boo. Can anyone shed any light???

beat keelby in humber cup on penos, we changed our keeper a minute before final whistle as the ref said we wouldny be able to during the actual penalty shootout

yep one of fiddler's midfielders got the gloves off the keeper and was ready to go in when the other team whinged and the ref said the original keeper had to go in goal. think the ref said only if the goalie was injured then you can swap with an outfield player. taxi for the ref!

still think we wudda won though lol. nah fiddler r a decent team, was a gd game but were off 2 blundell haha

i was watching this game and everyone who knows Tom Summers (the midfielder who wanted to go in)  knows hes would have saved a few more pens hes ausome. to be fair fiddler took some shit pens.
