Louth Utd 3-4 Pattesons.
Very competitive game both sides looking for the win, Pattesons had 5 good chances In the first half whilst limiting Louth to a couple, Louth took the lead with a scrappy goalmouth incident with Pattesons doing much the same (although Jagger took the goal well) to go into halftime at 1-1.
Changes made by Louth at halftime saw them go to two upfront with a lively centreforward coming on, Pattesons played one to many passes across the pitch and the ball was intercepted by a louth Midfielder who ran half the pitch and cooly slotted past the ever impressive Johnson in the Picklers goal.
Louth looked dominant for a short period before Pattesons unleashed Chris Ward (aka Wardie)and super sub Andy Duggard from the bench  They made an immediate impact linking up with Elliott who dinked the ball over the Louth back line and although Nathan Crooks was in an offside position it was Andy Duggard who ran on and slotted the ball in the net - uproar ensued the carrot crunchers with their linesman giving offside only to be overruled by the referee who although consulting the Linesman decided in the favour of the Grimsby side.(correctly)
Pattesons were now rampant and top scorer Nathan Crooks followed another ball over the top and calmly lobbed the keeper, with the Louth side still shellshocked a carbon copy ball through to Crooks was finished in some style.
Pattesons sat back and were hit with a 3rd from Louth who threw everything at the Pattesons defenCe and indeed with no less than 2 minutes on the clock made Johnson produce an outstanding save to keep the 3 points with Pattesons.
Both sides played some good football and will be looking for a top half finish.
Pattesons look forward to the return in what should be a lively encounter!

lol, he ant got the armband anyway, its safely staying in my bag. n i woulda been on time if i dint drive around louth about 10 times looking for the pitch.

there a good team tho and will take points off a lot of teams this season

i no what u mean wardy. lee always does looked crippled when he dances and for the footy yeh i gotta agree there. just look at saturday.
