The division 2 boys came out top in a tough encounter in which Harlem mixed it well. Score was kept 0-0 for 30 minutes with Harlem holding their own and not allowing their lofty opponents to settle. Sloppy marking from a corner then allowed Phil Barrett to nod in the first, which was quickly followed by a bad back pass allowing the Anderson forward to knock in a second. David 'Digger' Soames added a well taken third on the stroke of half time to give the scoreline a flattering look for the AAnderson boys. Second half was dominated by the Div 2 stars but to Harlems credit they only conceeded 2 and managed to pinch a goal for themselves.

A final score of 5-1 was probably a fair reflection of the 90 minutes. Tanks to John Leeman for his usual steady performance in the middle of the park (didnt move much from the middle either!!)
