An entertaining game that was not necessarily the one sided affair the result makes it look. First half was a tight fought affair with Harlem dominating the first 20 mins but unable to turn their possesion into goals and the final 25 mins of the half a more even affair with Birds Eye hitting the bar and then taking the lead with a 25yd drive into the bottom corner from SpursFan.

Half time came with Harlem still well in with a shout.....or so they thought!! 5 mins into the second half a Birds Eye won a free kick 25yds or so out which was struck round the wall with all the power of a 5yr old kicking it...this power was obviously too much for Harlems keeper who did a Massimo Taibi and let the ball roll through his hands and between his legs for 2-0 Birds Eye. Harlem then lost their way for the next 5 mins during which time Birds Eye scored 2 more one being a well judged lob from Spurs Fan. Harlem then woke up again and got a foothold in the game and began to create chances but the Birds Eye keeper was up to most efforts that did manage to find there way on target. Spurs Fan was denied the chance to complete a hat trick when the ref turned away appeals for a penalty when their forward was felled in the box (perhaps the most obvious penalty I have seen in a long while) the ref must have felt sorry for Harlem at this point!!!

i didnt want to leave m8 but it pissed me off nelly walking straight into the team when he has hardly played pre season or been to training,  am still interested  i was enjoying me footy untill sunday m8, the 2 lads that started against scaffletico was in front of me and then you and now nelly  5th choice?

This aint the place to be sorting this out really mate. If you werent happy (which is fair enough) then let me know rather than just asking for a transfer form. Anybody who asks me why I have or havent picked someone will get a straight answer from me. We have a big squad this year and it aint goona be easy keeping people happy Im under no illusions about that but its my call to have the squad the size it is, my call to pick the side I think will win us games and my call who I have to leave out of the 16 on a Sunday morning. And its on my shoulders when things go wrong.

So I will say this, I aint looking to lose people out of the squad but I also aint gonna stand in someones way whose heart aint in it. If you still wanna be involved mate get down to training on Thursday and lets talk about it. If not let me know and I will get you the form that you asked for on Sunday.

Cmon Spud if you cant cut the mustard i think Burkys playing for EWS New Waltham give him a tinkle m8 and Blasty, i think you will learn the hard way about having a big squad like you say 2nd game of the season and unrest in the camp.Spud had the same problem once dint ya matey and its fuckin hard. Spud just remember wot it was like when you was in charge and give him another chance pal and fight and cripple every cunt in training to get in that team.

Wouldnt say there was unrest in the camp other than Spuds unhappiness at being left out. I would expect everyone who is on the sidelines at the mo to be dissapointed BUT i would expect the response to be in the right way in training.like you say get out on the training pitch and prove me wrong!!

Im sure 95% of the squad will still be there come the end of season bash!!

If you read my post mate I never said the reason you werent picked was anything to do with you being on holiday. I mentioned you being on holiday as part of my surprise of you asking for transfer as it was your first game of the season. As for Nelly mate I had had a good chat with him at training on Thursday as I was questioning his commitment myself. He explained what had been going on and I got the answers I was looking for. As for picking him that is my call mate and as far as I am concerned my conscience is clear.

See ya Thursday m8. Oh and from this week training is for signed players only. I dont want anymore trialists down unless I have been asked and I have said yes.
