Mitchells were given a big boost for this Thursay night fixture with the return of Simon Ballard on 2 weeks leave from the gulf and this inspired them to one of their best performances of the season.
They raced into a 2 goal lead within the 1st 5 minutes. Firstly a long goal kick by Stu Graham was flicked on to Tez Ballard in acres of space and he hit a powerful shot past the keeper from outside the area.
Danny Hornigold then raced away from his marker and held his nerve with a cool finish in a 1 on 1 with the keeper.
Mitchells 3rd came from the penalty spot when Shane Walton did well on the right but was upended as he ran into the box. Nathan Crooks emphatically struck it home.
White Knight rarely threatened but hit the post just before halftime. Hornigold then struck the post for Mitchells after a good ball from Tez Ballard.
Simon Ballard had a great game on his return and was rewarded midway through the 2nd half when he bundled the ball into the net from close range.
Crooks got number 5 with a great strike from the edge of the area after a good run by Simon Ballard.
Walton almost made it 6 but his rockey from 35 yards flew just over.
