 Are two teams playing on St James now Dave cos Ive got a friendly booked with Inkworks FC on July 22nd on there,and their manager reckons its their home ground for the seaseon.

Well spoke with Becky Lane (Marketing manager St James School) today and she did say she had another team wanting to play friendlies on there and she had been dealing with somebody Cass??? So if somebody Cass is who runs Inkworks then that would make sense I guess.

Where I left it with her was we were definitely playing from there next season as we had done so last (got several emails to that effect) and she had no problems (said she would be putting contract together and asked me to let her know times we wanted to use it along with dates of season and when we wanted friendlies??!) and that we would be okay for friendlies from next week and this 'other team' she would speak to and offer them afternoons. So unless I am being fucked around and stitched up here, we are still on there.......perhaps they are going to let two teams play from there I dont know??  

Will be seriously pissed off with both St James School and whoever runs Inkworks if I have been gazumped here.            

Guess I just wait to see what tomorrow brings.

Thought it was the 26th. If it is the 19th then obviously there will be no friendly then!!!

Can someone confirm it is the 19th, cant find my paperwork at the moment and for some reason have 26th in my head.

Found my paperwork it is the 19th.

So obviously my offer of a friendly on 19th is duely retracted!!!

All date now filled guys, providing I still have a home ground tomorrow!!

Will let all the people who have dates arranged with us know in due course.

I also have a reserve list of two.......never been so popular!

In regardard to the 2nd to last message Chaps,  just so we can clear the air here.  NO underhand tactics or backstabbing has gone on (as may have been indicated by our friend at Baileys).  If they would like to take this further instead of bad mouthing us then they have my contact details in the handbook.  Personally i would rather open up communication channels with the partys involved before i go making false accusations in front of the whole comunity.

Having read the above posts I think you call it right about the communication side of things! As for the apology accepted bit I fail to see what Blasty has done that needs one! He merely said he'd be very unhappy if anything had (as in possiblity of or the potential to?) gone on underhand.

Righty so IMHO as his boys have played on there for a while now.

It's good to talk...........

Doubt he is a solicitor because Im sure most solicitors would read the messages above properly before going on a rant LOL, at no point were any accusations made, getting all hot under the collar over nothing.    

Will speak to the guy later and go give him a cuddle and all will be sorted. If we are gonna share a pitch we should all be friends

couldnt agree more but at the time of my rant I would have loved to have picked up the phone and called my new friend at Inkworks but I was not in possesion of a handbook to do so. Therefore I posted.

And as you say I reckon I had the right to be a little miffed off if there was a chance I was gonna be losing my home ground.

Seriousy chill out a bit. There is no apology to accept as I have nothing to apologise for.

Cass is a our team nurse and has done all the ground work for us which includes the pitches over the last few weeks while i was on holiday.  I Didn't ralise how much effort is involved in setting up a team!.

Last thing we want is to stand on anyone's toes and upset anyone (off the pitch of course).  Were new to this and might need some advice in future from u guys.  

Our last post wasn’t meant to offend blasty in anyway, if it did then i apologise sincerely.

as for the speeling,  i'm not a solisiter and shuold realy use a speeling checker.

i think you should have a one-off game to determin who gets the pitch this coming season
