watched yesterdays game and think after camb going4-0  up then they gave u to much time on the ball, not many teams in 4 will do, espeac Redstar as they are fast at closing people down, for me as manager of my side 7-6 is a shite result absoloutly,  Val played good football in the 2nd half but to be honest cambridge didnt really have a clue, to much time and to much respect given from there team after making A descent lead, but good going forward and brought back a half descent victory

tom , not realy bothered any more, sick of all the hype, theres more than us 2 in the league and if teams keep bringing ureslfs and us up in this coversation then i think others are gonna get pissed of and get a challenge going, dont get that involved that there is a big fall

you val boys, you pissed div 6 easy like we did, then your on a roll thinking you goner piss 4,like we did, sign some better players like we did, then when some other players started to get left out they all start to disrupt the team ,like what happened to us, if your not careful you could fold with a lot of people leaving, been there before and your team reminds me of us last year, but we seemed to pull it around somehow,

yeh i know

Tuesday night was our worst performance of pre-season by a mile, a few people had the wrong attitude and we expected to hammer the cambridge club.  As it turned out, we managed to nick it at the death after being 4 - 0 down.  I am personally glad that it happenend because it has served as a wake-up call for some of us.  I am under no illusions that division four is a totally different kettle of fish to six and that it will be a difficult league to win.

Good luck to all teams in division four!

Come off it m8, the only reason Camb Club managed to make us sweat was because our stand-in keeper, Ben Hammond, who on his day is one of the best around, had an absolute mare and gifted them the first 3 goals. Many teams at 4-0 down, in a friendly, would have just given up, but give the lads some credit, they battled to get 2 back before half time. They could have even been 5-4 up if not for 3 brilliant saves from the Camb Club keeper. Then in the 2nd half they camped in the oppositions half & scored another 5 goals & conceded 2 - cos they were going for it they got caught on the break. Yes I can understand anyone saying 7-6 is poor if they didn't watch the game. But if you were there you saw how the score unfolded & must agree. I dont think they meant to give us too much space I dont think they had a choice. Our team plays at such a high tempo that most teams we play run out of steam trying to stay with us. Anyway, has I have said before on this site, we know it will be harder in div 4, but rest assured we will be up there in the mixer at the end of the season. We might not win it but we will cause teams problems & will be going for it 110%.    UP THE VAL

fair point there m8, but the keepers only good as the team around him and for the keeper to get in them positions to have a mare, then others should be looked at aswell... And from my opnion m8. I honestly do think Camb gave u too much time on the ball, MAYBE ure passing did open them up, but still thought that they thought the game was in the bag...left at 4-3 as i was of to watch the mighty arsenal...one thing i can say is tho u r half descent going forward
