Scorers for Redstar were Conroy 2,Blackmore 1,Borrill 1,Snowy Edwards 1. Was a weird game cos 2 of our ex players who i got rid of and who just cannot leave our club alone turned up to play for Harlem just cos they were playing agaisnt us but had no intention of signing for Harlem infact they will probably be playing for White bear against us on thursday!!.Turned out that they were 2 of the poorer players for blastys boys anyhows. I just cannot understand what Blastys team and players get out of playing them both at any stage as they would never sign so it must piss other squad members off who have been there b4 them but hey ho it aint my club and they were still asking me after theg game if they could come back to us.Redstar 1-0 up,Harlem equalised,Redstar 3-1 up,Harlem scored a penalty which saw Redstars keeper sent off and they then made it 3-3. Jaggs kindly let Soggy the goalie return to goal 2nd half and Redstar went on to win 5-3. Game was won mostly wide right flank for Redstar on the break and i gotta say it was a much harder game than i thought so big respect to Blastys boys they were a much imprived team to when we played them last year and will defo improve on last seasons finish. Spuds a good lad at centre back does a lot of talking that needs to be listened to like a captain type(apart from get worm on he's a centreback and get burky on he's a....well get burky on anyways!lol Best player for Harlem in our opinion was blond lad in midfield i think he was. Both sides played decent football on the floor with some neat flicks and there was very rarely a hoof unless it was a neccesary clearance. Blasty i didnt pay you i forgot but i text you yesterday for your addy which you have not answered unless you changed your number so get back to me asap for yer wonga m8.

Didnt see the game as I was at my lads christening but by all acoounts was a good game, struggled a bit against you with the 4 4 2 system we started with as you seemed to be running all over us in midfield. So captain and manager for the day shaggy elected to go 4 5 1 which in turn freed up Eddy (blond lad in middle of park) to do what he does best and get involved in the game all over pitch. The lads thoroughly enjoyed the game and we are improving week on week and I think the tough pre season we have had will benefit us in ter,s of fitness and play once the season starts in earnest.

As for your two ex lads Chiff, first I knew of them coming down was at 10.05 when Spud tells me he has brought two lads who are looking for a new team. I just left it up to Shaggy whether to give them a run out or not. Feedback from our lads was fairly positive about them but I reserve the right for final say on that depending on whether they turn up again!! This is pre season and still looking to add some quality to squad even at this late stage, so lets see if they show again and I will take it from there.

It is no disrespect to your club Blasty but the point i am trying to make is that they only played for you because you were playing against us! I guarantee you they will not turn up for you again mate cos thats the kind of lads they are.
