I was running the line on the next pitch to you. Hows your keeper by the way. The kid who did that should have been sent off, it was a disgraceful challenge.

Now I for one can be one of the worst (or best on your interpretation) for getting stuck in and mixing it but from what I've heard gotta agree with Les..........we do this for fun for fucks sake! Why do you go straight through the keeper when the ball is in play else where?

Thanks for asking, he has torn ligaments as his standing foot was taken out, he`s in alot of pain but ok. Most of us missed it as he kicked the ball upfield (we all followed the ball) only to hear him scream (he is not the type to fake it either). The lads who did see it though said it was horrible.

Believe me Dan, it was a disgraceful challenge, there was a break in play on our pitch and I was watching your game when it happened.

les if the ref  didnt see it can it be reported to  the league.?

Yeah, I know. Shame really as he should be banned for a very long time for that. Don't think theres anything you can do about it though if the ref doesn't include it in his report.

Didn't seem to be but im sure the Immingham lads will tell you. I just saw the incident in question. The Immingham keeper had kicked the ball up field when all of a sudden this opposition player came in and booted/stamped on his leg. Whether anything had gone off between them earlier I don't know but whatever happened its no excuse to do what their lad did.

no it wasnt a particucaly dirty game. but there was two minutes to go with grs losing and 1 or 2 realy getting on the refs back saying they had be done by a ref in immingham again. the ref wouldnt even take his match fee and said he had had enough and was calling it a day he was shaking after the game. to top it all rumour has it the player concerned isnt even registered

If the Assistant present see the challenge in question, He should of flagged for the referee. The referee would of confered with the assistant, with his name to go in his report as witness to the incident. With info gathered from assissant, the referee should been able to implement the laws of the game to max! With a nice fat Dismissal!! Did the assistant in question even attempt to the referee???? They are know as assistants to assist on and off the field of play.

The linesman was flagging like mad Gav but I didn't see if the ref went over to consult with him.

Where Taverners losing at the time?

When we (De Kyme) beat them eariler this season they didn't like it too much and some of there player tried kicking off.

But on the other side of the coin, we played them pre season and we beat them and they were fine. They do come across as a load of knuckle dragging idiots but they were more pissed off with themselves and shook hands afterwards. Just saying with out warrenting what went on there are 2 sides to every story.

Not in this instance Chiffy. I was watching their game as there was a break of play in ours and if the kid who did that had done it in the street he would be up on an assault charge now.

Not having a go at any of the other GRS players as I know a few of them but this one kid needs to sort himself out and quick.

Immingham Striders 1 - Harlem 2. Striders 1 up after 45 mins after having the best of the first half but Harlem got 2 in the 2nd in which they controlled from the restart. Good game played in a decent way considering we had no ref.

De Kyme 8-1 Adcocks, it should have been about 15, if the De Kyme striker got his head out of arse, he came away with the hat trick at the end though
