And Treach scored the winner too. Rose like a salmon at the far post to head home.

Oh, and he got booked too.  

I make that a full house!!! Won 1-0, Scored the only goal, got booked and played 90 minutes Centre Mid...............you wot!!!!

     

well done to my team scaffletico madrid who won convincinly 7-0 against a not so tough millenium side and i think that we are good contenders for promotion this season!!

Steelers missed a pen in the last minute. One of the worst penalties ever seen. It ended up nearer the corner flag than the goal.

Not so sure about that Blasty.....they were very poor yesterday! Our Keeper didn't have one shot to save and if we'd have taken all our chances (which you never do obviously!) we'd have been around the 12-15 mark! We beat you guys comfortably but to be honest yesterday was a complete walkover - least you lot competed!!

You hit the nail on the head there Treach about us not taking our chances, lost 5-0 last week but should have been 3 or 4 up before conceeding (including missing our 3rd penalty of the season) and then some schoolboy defensive errors costing us dear. This week same story, should have been 3 or 4 up after dominating the opening half hour then conceeded 2 very soft goals plus one very harsh penalty in the 10 mins before half time. Then missed yet another penalty and had the miss compounded with Kingsway going straight up the other end to score.
As you know the trouble with not taking your chances is that your back 4 (which desperately needs reinforcing) is under pressure not to conceed and when under this kind of pressure makes the silly mistakes we do. And nearly always 1 follows 2 follows 3, you know the score.
Fair play to all the lads, the quality of play, work rate and effort has been much improved the last few weeks (if not the results) but until we start taking the chances and scoring the goals our play deserves, Im afraid we seem condemned to a straight forward battle for second bottom with the mighty Tom Woods!! Now they should be two very interesting games!!        

In all fairness dave if the league hadnt promoted 9 teams from div 8 last year.You were second to bottom if you remember .You would still be in that division playing poor teams every week and probably 3rd or 4th placed.So dont give up mate
