A bit lucky to beat Thorndyke 4-2. They tryed to pass the ball all game. God knows why they r struggling so much. Credit to them its easy to get a side out when u r near the top but to keep doing it every week when u r struggling is different

i got a chest infection texon, i caught the last 20 mins, looked pretty even, even when your player fired thad 40 yarder in the top corner! lol

we were a bit light weight up front today, but like i keep saying, we're a decent team, and thats the first time we've lost by more than one goal in about 5 weeks.

yes that exactly what we thought all though you had players who could give and take a pass you always look a bit ligtweight up front. U also struggled a bit defending on set pieces but i thought you  out passed us nearly all game. I think we wknow the second match might be even harder. expect i couple more big lads for the set pieces!!!

borin scrappy game, to be fair jdf could have had 5 if they'd been ruthless upfront, decent performance but wasted alot of chances.

poor showin from thorndyke, totally hammered in the first half, woke up to get back in the game second half, but it was all too little too late in the end.

decent game for the ref, although he waved away a stick on penalty for jdf in the second half!!

can't say much bout it mate , think the 3 week lay off cost us goals as prior to that had scored bout 14 in 3 , you get slagged off but not that bad , fair play to ya

He may well be GRIMSBYBLOKE but be prepared for the usual the table doesnt lie response especially on the back of their 2-2 draw yesterday. 4 point gap between you guys now and its not looking good for you catching em now is it?

Compliments are nice to receive, Im sure most of our opposition say nice things about us but it doesnt hide the fact we only have 6 points, so we really cant be tearing up any trees. Just have to accept the fact and move on.

 

it wouldnt look that good i admit, BUT we have the bottom team to play twice. so catching them is very much a possability!

I have been reading it mate all we need is 3 points and it game over for you gybloke.
Yes you have got the bottom team to play twice but beating them is another thing i am sure it will go down to the wire. But if we have belly in goal will be hard for the opo to score. les knows that he is quality, just wish he would play full time.
We have as a team been looking a lot better in the past two weeks only losing by the one goal.

jdf 2 - birds eye 1 , you had belly in goal today and let in 2 goals against a very weak jdf , six players missing , only 2 out of starting 11 in regular positions , how you couldn't beet us today i'll never know , we was poor but yopu was SHIT. Thorndyke a far better team than you

Thorndyke deserved a point, mind u there keeper had a blinder!!

he did make three world class saves today and was our man of the match for the second half, but to be fair, i think you're lucky to get the point, we should have wrapped it up early on, but as it always seems to go we threw two points away.
or right winger (ray blain) had a field day today, but the last 15 mins we just caved in, that always seems to happen!
