To all you people out there who slated my team The Valiant FC :  Today we played and beat a very good Grange Oak team, 2 - 1 . This was an excellent game of football, played in the right spirit ,by two teams who deserve to be at the top of the league. Credit must go to the Grange lads who never stopped battling all game and never resorted to bully-boy tactics, of which they are often accused. But I would like top publicly thank my team for a fantastic all-round effort to secure the points. They never stopped believing they could get the win, even though they went one nil down, and battled all the way to the end. Days like this make it all worthwhile.I could not be more proud of our team.   Up the Val

Val 2 JDF 1, jdf gave a good performance and not sure if thats val's first choice 11 but some clever changes by Mr L late on proved to be the correct tactical change , Trotty going centre back and two young lads pushed forward .  Had to be my mate C Blyth whom scored the winner , a tap in from 2 yards , don't let him tell ya it was a screamer . Excellent sporting game by both sides .

well done steve .... we were rubbish today the worst we have plated all season ..... but thats a lot down to your team who gave us no time on the ball which forced errors .... u deserved some thing out of the game today ....   Unlucky mate  

we may have had a bad day at the office yesterday, but like all gd teams we stil picked up the 3 points which just shows how much fight the team has in us, credit must go 2 jdf though who gave us a very tough game ........... UP THE VAL

jdf i must say they are certainly a team on the up 6-0 against cambridge tht is a very gd result, they could also consider ther selves unlucky aftewr narrowly losing 2 us the val 2-1 last week, shows gd fighting spirit considering thy dnt hav a manger

Yes all credit to the Val they will be worthy champs. Willy is right they could have had a couple more with better finishing.. we gave it a go but they were quicker and fitter all over the pitch. Good sporting game as well. Well done Val.
