PH Supplies 1 JDF 0 match abandoned after 25 mins , ph player went down injured , suspected broken leg. no subs to bring on , ref said calling game off due to players saftey . Bad call , 1 hard tackle and stops game , said it was the condition of pitch but if that bad WHY statr game in first place ?

Bluey do not think they are world beaters just more committed and together than JDF. JDF do not play as a team they bicker with one another and are given no support or direction by their bench.

Good individuals but they do not play as a team. Why would you think that we would think we are world beaters COE?

i dont think he was having a dig at bluey personelly texon,just putting into perspective how easy it was for you against his team m8,basically showing he is pissed off at present with his squad

Thanks chiffy , i couldn't have put it better myself . And yes your right texon , had to much pressure from sidelines and me personnaly am very cheezed of , put alot of time and effort into running side , we asked for all to be at trawl for lifts at 10 to 10 and at ten past ten i'm still ringing players , one tells me he forgot his boots , how the fuck can you go to footy and forget yer boots !Also got call from Troopy the manager and he told me he's not coming down anymore cos there is no commitment from certain players who have played local footy for him for ten years . Shame it's not as easy for a secretary to walk out then the team will get a big shake up

Have been there Steve on more than one occasion. Too many people think its ok to turn up 10 minutes before kick off and then moan like fuck when they are not in the team. Think that all Sunday football is about is turning up paying your subs  (or not in a lot of cases) and thats it. Too many players do not realise how much hard work goes on behind the scenes just to keep a team going.

Fair play Steve. We were well up for it after having lost twice to you and you are right half your team did not look interested. I do not think we played especially well just worked harder and won more of the 50/50s. Good luck for the rest of the year.

my teams set-up is garbage as well!!

we've got a manager who plays people cos he doesn't wanna upset them incase they leave, he'll leave out quieter players who wont complain, even though they are the best ones! the players who do play every week dont give a shit, and dont try, cos they know they'll walk into the team every week. theres no tactical nouse from the manager, he's silent at half-time, we give our own team talks for fucks sake! he plays defenders in midfield instead of dropping someone when it needs changing around.
when the decent players get a chance, it doesnt matter what they do, next week when the 'favourites' are back they're back on the bench.
we get hammered every week, and the manager hasn't a clue, how the fuck do we attract new players!?

thats a proper sunday league team, shit-hot bunch of lads, ace manager, just really well run. i played for them for a few seasons, but i bust my ankle, and couldnt get fit again when it was healed, i started training with my bro's team (thorndyke) and ended up playing for them, but no one there is really bothered. i wanna win!!
