Good game actually. Fairfield were a lot more physically stronger than ourselves and they passed the ball better from the back. A very solid team down the centre of the pitch.

I wasn't too disheartened with my side. Hit the post twice at 0-0 and 0-2 and their keeper made a top save at 0-0. We needed a bit of luck to go our way and it didn't.

Fairfield will win a lot more games than they lose because of their ability to pass from the back and their physical presence. A very good side.

was sub mate. no mate never played. mainly cause drew was down with us and didnt want him to be left on his own cause vinny was on the other side of the pitch. yeh missed your hat trick tom. was it as good as your goal at the y.m.c.a from the half way line.

Fairfields 3 - 1 Redstar

Game of 2 halves. Redstar were in control and 1-0 up through a Maccann penalty and shouldve been 2-0 at halftime judging by the play with the younger players frustrating the older heads for Fairfields but Fairfields came out for 2nd half and played with the wind to their advantage with quality balls into the box and easily bossed the 2nd half hour and deserved to win the game. As soon as Sadlers boys equalised the Redstar heads went down and i have to say and i dont give a fuck which Redstar players read this, i have been involved with this team for 10 years and i have never been so embarreseed in all my life as at the cave in show we gave today. I have honestly played for this club and lost 10-0 and not felt as angry as i am today. Anyways, well done to the Fairfields lads, itll be them,Harriets and the Val that contest this league and certainly not Redstar

East Coast 0 - 4 Nick's Takeaway.

A lot better from us (Nick's) I've got a squad of 28 to pick from and today i found a starting line up that looked very good. Total domination in the first half. Rich Ramsden banging in 3, one of which was a fantastic hit. Lost our keeper after 15 mins but the sub keeper was also spot on. East Coast lost a player after an hour due to a red card (violent conduct) and their only threat was Peck up front.
